Metro Cash&Carry Sees Flat Consumer Spending In 2012

Metro Cash&Carry, the largest retailer on the Romanian market by sales, is the first to provide a pessimistic estimate about the consumer-spending trend this year. The company, whose last year sales stood at more than EUR1 billion, forecasts a stagnation of the indicator that used to be the driver of the economy during the boom years.
