Top 30 Retailers In Romania Post Turnover Of EUR4.3B

The ranking of the largest retail companies is dominated, as expected, by Carrefour, Real and Penny Market – foreign companies whose annual turnovers range between a little over EUR400 million and almost a billion, according to Trade Registry data. The ranking doesn’t include the results of German retailer Kaufland, which were not published by the Trade Registry or the Finance Ministry, but they amount to EUR1.35 billion, according to ZF estimates. This figure would bring the merchant to no. 1 in the ranking, ahead of Carrefour.
