Finance Ministry: Romania’s Budget Deficit Down To RON48B Or 2.34% Of GDP In January-July 2026

Romania's general consolidated budget deficit reached 2.34% of gross domestic product (GDP) or RON48.08 billion in January-July 2026, which is significantly lower than the 3.99% of GDP or RON76.44 billion recorded in the same period of 2025, Finance Ministry data showed on Monday (August 31).
