IMF Urges Romania To Renegotiate Costly Contract For Rundown Rail Line

The International Monetary Fund has charged Romania's Government to renegotiate the contract for the Valcea-Valcele railway line, whose value has risen four times after it was unilaterally suspended by railway administrator CFR in the '90s, and to find financing for the project.
